All human beings are biological and social creatures. Biological processes stimulate children’s physical development; coordination and strength gradually improve, so they can feed themselves and walk. While these biological developments are occurring, children are talked to and handled by caregivers who provide them with food and protect them from physical harm. These social interactions with caregiver are essential for normal development.

In some studies, those infants must have social contact with caregivers as well as physical care from them in order to develop normally. This in institutional children who received adequate physical care like food, cloth, clean bedding, adequate toilet facilities and a lot more. However, did not caregivers who handled and cuddled or talked to them, the children not only lagged behind others of their age in intellectual development but also suffered impaired physical health, apparently because of their lack of social contact. Such studies indicate that we must examine more closely the role of nurture, or socialization, in human development, as well as the role or nature, or biological processes.

Religious beliefs are evident in all known contemporary cultures. They can be inferred from artifacts found associated with Homo sapiens, at least since Neanderthal times. Artifacts found in Neanderthal graves suggest that the early people believed in an afterlife. Sculptures of females with ample secondary sex characteristics – which may have been fertility charms- have been found at widely, separated archaeological sites. Besides, cave paintings in which the predominant images are animals of the hunt may reflect a belief that the images had some power over events. Anthropologists have theorized that early humans thought their hunting could be made more successful if they drew images depicting good luck in hunting.

The existence of prehistoric religion may be assumed. There is evidence of the universal of religion on historic times. As early as the 5th century B.C, Herodotus made objective comparisons between the religions of the fifty or so societies he traveled to from his home in Greece. He noticed many similarities among their Gods and pointed out evident to diffusion of religion worship.

The family had a biggest role in every society. It is the basic or the most fundamental unit in any society. Other sociologists and anthropologists define the family as a group of people who are united by ties of marriage, ancestry, or adoption, and who are reorganized by the community as constituting a single household and as having responsibility for rearing children. On the other hand, the United States census defines the family as two or more persons who are related to each other blood, marriage, or adoption and who live together. However, there is a broadening concept of the family to include adults who are not relatives but who have a commitment to each other and want to live together, in some sense as a family.

The family may be viewed as a subsystem with interacting personalities. The members interact with one another in their reciprocal role, supported by a set of norms attitudes, and values drown mostly from the larger society.
