The changing society and the demands for more effectiveness programs create a serious implication to education. A surer way to make the learning activities directed by the school vital and real is to dawn on the community and its activities, thereby bridging the gap between the school and community.

Anthropologist in the county point to the existing incongruence between what is learned in school and what is a practice in the family and the community. Seemingly, the school becomes the “world of the ideal,” and the family, “the world of the real,” It is a main concern of education sociologist and anthropologist to narrow down the gap of existing incongruence between and the local communities. The education is a deliberate, systematic, and sustains effort to transmit or acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes and values. In the formal sense, education refers to the organization transmission of a culture’s knowledge, skills, and values from one generation to another.

The family had a biggest role in every society. It is the basic or the most fundamental unit in any society. Other sociologists and anthropologists define the family as a group of people who are united by ties of marriage, ancestry, or adoption, and who are reorganized by the community as constituting a single household and as having responsibility for rearing children. On the other hand, the United States census defines the family as two or more persons who are related to each other blood, marriage, or adoption and who live together. However, there is a broadening concept of the family to include adults who are not relatives but who have a commitment to each other and want to live together, in some sense as a family.

The family may be viewed as a subsystem with interacting personalities. The members interact with one another in their reciprocal role, supported by a set of norms attitudes, and values drown mostly from the larger society.

Change occurs everywhere. This is a phenomenon that characterizes the world in which we live. All of us are, therefore, a part of an ever-changing world. Some of these many aspects of changes in our social world are changes on our institutions, changes in material culture, cultural diffusion, and changes on our population.

Everyone faces the regular seasonal and annual cycles as well as the cycles of birth, infancy, childhood, adulthood, marriage, child-bearing, old age, and death. Change has been regarded in many ways, as a means, as an end, as a process, as a social movement, as a state of affairs, as involving a program, a principle, and ideology, a doctrine, or even a problem.

Social change has been defined as the alteration of patterns of social organizations, structure, institutions, and intergroup or intergroup behaviors over time. It is pervasive in all societies and affects all individuals, in one way or another. Change is pervasive in culture, society and personality. Changes in culture bring about changes in society and human beings. Likewise, changes in society and in a human being bring about changes in culture.
