Leodis Matthews is a previous federal prosecutor at the department of justice in United States and as a senior attorney in the civil division in both to international disputes and commercial litigation for the US Government. Leodis Matthews is a Special Attorney at the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section of the Criminal Division. He served as an Assistant US Attorney and he was also the Senior Adviser at the Congressional Select Committee the team that investigates the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He was the representative of many international companies in different areas of commercial, construction and securities law.
Leodis Matthews became the President of the American Bar Association in Germany for the US Attorneys. He was acknowledged as the Foreign Legal Advisor in Germany for the practice of law. He regularly testified in the German Court as the American Law Legal expert in the field of Comparative law. Leodis Matthews is a qualified litigator and he represents different regional and international businesses and companies.
After his term on the Select Committee, he focused on criminal law. He worked for three years at the US Department of Justice. He ended his period as the US Attorney Assistant in the United States Attorney office. Since 2004, he operated and managed as Leodis C. Matthews, APC. This practice continued to give emphasis to the international cross-border transactions and litigation as the senior expert with international Law firm of Dacheng Law agencies. Leodis Matthews also represents clienteles in entertainment law, business ventures, procurements or contracts, business and employment law, real estate, deal making, and the civil litigation.
Mr. Matthews graduated from the Lewis & Clark University of Law and there he earned his degree in Bachelor of Science. His education is one the main reason of who and what he became today.
