Charisma is a Greek word which means “divine gift” Max Weber used it to indicate the ability of some people to inspire faith, to get others to believe their message. According to sociologist, the basic of this gift is an unusual ability to form attachments with others. Just as people join religions out of attachments to members, in the beginning people accept the claim of a founder of a new faith because they develop very string attachments to the founder. All studies of new religions report that the founders possessed remarkable gifts for interpersonal relations.
